GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The assistant city attorney for Gainesville is on personal leave after his arrest on allegations that he was prowling while naked outside a woman's house.

City spokesman Bob Woods told the Gainesville Sun on Wednesday that 56-year-old Ronald D. Combs requested the leave. Woods says an investigation is continuing following Combs' Saturday arrest.

Gainesville police say the woman was awakened about 6 a.m. Saturday and saw a man standing in her bedroom.

The Sun reports the man ran when he realized the woman was awake. She called 911 and responding officers found the man, wearing only a skull cap and running shoes, moving through nearby yards.

Police used a stun gun to subdue him. He faces burglary charges and was released from jail Monday on $15,000 bail.
