JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Interstate 95 at State Road 207 was reopened after a crash involving two tractor-trailers, that closed the interstate for more than five hours.
Around 7:22, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched to I-95 southbound at State Road 207 in St. Augustine in reference to a crash.

There were no serious injuries in the accident.
According to a FHP report, one tractor-trailer driving southbound on I-95 in the outside lane slowed because of a previous crash in the roadway that was blocking the lane.
A second tractor-trailer that had been traveling behind the first didn't slow down enough and swerved to the center lane in an unsuccessful attempt to avoid a collision with the first tractor-trailer.
When the tractor-trailers collided, one of the trailers ripped apart spilling thousands of empty aluminum cans across the roadway.
A third vehicle struck the tractor-trailer that had swerved into its path, and all southbound lanes were blocked.
Traffic was being rerouted off the SR 207 exit and then back onto I-95.
The roadway was reopened around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.
