Children's Christmas Party of Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Children's Christmas Party of Jacksonville is going to take place on Dec. 10. from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.
The large annual charity event disperses new toys to Jacksonville children in need.

The donated new toys will be given to as many as 8,000-9,000 of Jacksonville's children in need according to the Children's Chirstmas Party of Jacksonville on the morning of December 10. This year, the Children's Christmas Party of Jacksonville will celebrate its 13th year.

The Children's Christmas Party of Jacksonville, a non-profit organization, was founded in December 1999 by Travis and Margaret Storey with the mission of providing toys for Jacksonville's children in need.

Enough funds were collected for last year's party to enable the volunteers to hand out 26,000 brand new toys and over 600 bikes, scooters and wagons from Lucky Wheels Depot. In addition, 50,000 novelty toys and pencils were also given to children attending the party.
