Fire burns home in Northwest Jacksonville

Workers boarding windows on Tuskegee Road

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Workers were boarding up windows at a Northwest Jacksonville home early Friday morning after a fire.

The home was located in the 2100 block of Tuskegee Road, which is near West 45th Street and Avenue B.

The fire broke out around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Some fire restoration workers were on scene early Friday morning.  Two windows were broken and the workers were boarding them up.

No word if anyone was inside the home at the time of the fire.
