General admission tickets for the festival go on sale Thursday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Foo Fighters will headline Welcome to Rockville 2018 when the annual rock music festival rolls into Jacksonville next spring.

Led by Dave Grohl, the Grammy-winning band is known for a number of hit songs, including "Learn To Fly," "My Hero," and "The Pretender."

The festival, billed as Florida's "biggest rock experience," runs from April 27-29 at Metropolitan Park, organizers announced in a news release Monday.

"Next year's Rockville promises to be the biggest rock weekend Florida has ever seen, and Foo Fighters are only the beginning," festival producer Danny Wimmer said.

VIP and general admission tickets for the festival go on sale starting Thursday morning at 10 a.m. via the Capitol One presale.

The full festival lineup will be released on Nov. 6. For more details, click here.
