JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Whenever we see the hot sign, many of us go running to get a freshly, HOT donut from Krispy Kreme. Coming up next week, there will be a new hot sign up as a new store opens on the west side.
At 6am, Tuesday, May 28, 2013, Krispy Kreme is everyone out to celebrate the opening of the new Krispy Kreme Doughnut Factory, at 810 Cassat Avenue in Jacksonville. The Hot Light goes on at 6am. And not only will there be hot doughnut but also big giveaways. The first 100 guests receive free doughnuts for a year, commemorative t-shirts and tasty prizes.

• One free dozen Original Glazed® doughnuts every week for a year to the FIRST customer in line;
• Customers 2 through 99 receive one free dozen Original Glazed® doughnuts every month for a year;
• AND, the first 100 customers in line will receive a commemorative Grand Opening t-shirt.
This will be the third location in Jacksonville.
Marketing Manager Megan Greene says, "We love Jacksonville we have such loyal fans here and were really excited about the grand opening."
Krispy Kreme says the approximately 2,400 square foot location with a drive-thru will feature more than a dozen varieties of Krispy Kreme's one-of-a-kind doughnuts, including the signature hot Original Glazed® , as well as a complete menu of Krispy Kreme Chillers®, iced beverages and Krispy Kreme Signature Coffee Blends. Hours of operation will be Monday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Anyone is welcome to attend the grand opening. Greene says at other store openings people often camp out days in advance of the opening.
"Were going to be holding a camp out the night before on Monday from 6pm-9pm," Greene says. "We're going to have a DJ, Pizza party, a photo booth for those who do decide to camp out in hopes of getting one of these cards."
Krispy Kreme will also host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. on grand opening day featuring Krispy Kreme team members and local dignitaries.
