Looking for leads in East Arlington double murder

1 year anniversary of slaying next week

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - November 15 will mark the one year anniversary of the deaths of Kelli Jo Diadone, 40 and Richard Barley, 42 -- shot and killed in a home on Spivey Terrace in East Arlington.

Saturday the group MAD DADS held a march through the neighborhood to keep the case in the limelight.

"Two members of our community were brutally murdered. No one has been brought to justice for this. The family wants some closure for this," said Donald Foy of Men Against Destruction Defending Against Drugs and Social Disorder.

Authorities think Diadone, Thomas Wine's fiancee, may have been killed because she witnessed Barley's murder.

"My whole world crashed. My kids are scattered through the Florida winds. I'm just trying to pick up the pieces and pull my family back together," said Wine.

Barley's family is also desperate for answers.

"It's very sad. My heart hurts very much. But I am overwhelmed with all of the people that came out," said Tee Saxon, Barley's mother.

MAD DADS hopes the canvas of the neighbor will bring forward someone who knows something.
