Man robbed, shot, shows up at NW Jax fire station

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man with a gunshot wound to his chest showed up at a fire station on Northwest Jacksonville on Monday night.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to what it called a robbery with injuries at 3500 Myrtle Avenue. The man, who got himself to Fire Station 18, was taken to UF Health, but there was no word about his condition on Monday night.

Police at the scene had little information about the victim or shooting.
