Massage parlor employee arrested in prostitution sting

Sun Hee Gribat, 70, faces charges of prostitution, unlicensed health practices

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 70-year old woman was arrested Wednesday during a prostitution sting targeting a massage business, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Sun Hee Nmn Gribat faces charges of prostitution and practicing as an unlicensed health care professional.

Investigators said she was operating inside Jax Therapy on Bowden Road.

According to her arrest report, an undercover officer payed Gribat $70 for a massage, but took her into custody after she offered to do a sex act for an additional $60.

News4Jax stopped by the therapy office Wednesday to ask about its practices and the woman who was arrested.

“I don’t know. Something happened yesterday, so somebody called and I come here. I don’t know what happened today," an employee said.

Moments after saying she didn't know what happened, the employee, who did not give her name, changed her story.

“She tell me ... so I know what happened. But I’m not here yesterday," the employee said. "I only come this morning. I help the owner. “

The woman said the business is owned by two people. She said one of the business owners was not available because of a medical issue. News4Jax asked if she could call the other owner, but she refused.

According to police, Gribat’s name doesn’t show up on the state board of massage therapy. Duval County court records revealed that Tuesday's arrest was her first.

Gribat was booked in to the Duval County Jail, but was released about 4 p.m. Wednesday after posting $4,000 bond.
