JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Mayor Lenny Curry has been flying around on Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan's private jet for two days, talking with people in Baltimore, St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri.

The mayor posted some photos from the trip, in which he visited the three cities in less than 36 hours.

He was joined by Jaguars President Mark Lamping and his chief administrative officer, Sam Mousa.

Curry told News4Jax that he's been taking notes about the design and infrastructure of those cities.

“Any ideas that we get here are specific to the Shipyards project, but when you get to see the size and scope of these things, it obviously would be to benefit other areas that we look to Downtown in the future,” Curry said. “Right now, we've got an area with a group, Shad Khan and the Jaguars and their companies and Mark Lamping are ready to get things done.”

Curry was scheduled to return to Jacksonville on Tuesday afternoon.
