"I am really excited to see the momentum building around One Spark and so glad they've invited me to be a part of the Town Hall tonight," Feagins told Channel 4. "There is a lot of overlap between the public radio audience and the engaged, curious, and creative people involved in this event and working to make Jacksonville even more amazing."

After the town hall, there is a block party behind the Florida Theatre in The Bailey Publishing parking lot. There will also be deals and specials only for town hall attendees at nearby downtown Jacksonville restaurants and bars, including Underbelly, Burro Bar, Northstar Substation and Dos Gatos.

One Spark is a five-day event for creators. From April 17-21, artists, entrepreneurs and innovators will display projects in downtown Jacksonville. There will be more than 65 venues featuring more than 500 creators, all vying for $250,000 in crowdfunding to further develop the creator's project.

Those interested in attending Thursday night's town hall and block party can RSVP for the event.
