Police investigate attempted burglary at Target

Officials say 2 men involved

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – The Jacksonville Beach Police Department is investigating what it says was an attempted burglary at the Target retail store located on Marsh Landing Parkway.

Police said their preliminary investigation revealed on Monday at about 12:30 a.m. two men (pictured above) smashed the outer window of the store's vestibule.

Officials said after they broke the window, the two men fled the scene on foot.

After reviewing security footage, police determined the men were in the store's electronic section earlier at about 8 p.m. Sunday.
