MAD DADS seeks answers in cab driver shooting

Group goes door-to-door in Northwest Jax hoping to break code of silence

Headline Goes Here

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The group MAD DADS went door-to-door Saturday asking for help in finding the person responsible for shooting and trying to rob a Jacksonville cab driver.

Carlton, the driver who only wants his first name used (pictured, below), shared his incredible story of survival with us a few weeks ago. MAD DADS returned to the scene on 19th Street between Myrtle Avenue and Moncrief Road Saturday trying to find answers.

"The message today is for the community to break the code of silence and call crime stoppers about the individuals who are responsible for the shooting of an innocent cab driver that was only trying to make a living and take care of his family," said Donald Foy with MAD DADS.

If you know anything about this shooting you can call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
