JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A 59-year-old Jacksonville man was convicted last week on two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation, two counts of sale or showing of obscene material to minors, and three counts of sale and providing alcoholic beverages to a person younger than 21.

Between December 2011 and February 2012, William Permenter provided the three victims, ages 9, 12 and 16, with "wine coolers," intoxicating them. Permenter played pornographic videos and forced the girls to watch the videos.

Permenter then inappropriately touched one of the victims and forced the child to touch him.

In 1986, Permenter pleaded guilty to a charge of lewd assault. Permenter now faces up to life in prison. He will be sentenced the week of June 3.
