JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Police have arrested a man they said was involved in a home invasion in June in which two other suspects were killed by the homeowner.

Antonio Lenton, 24, is charged with home invasion and two counts of felony murder in connection with the deaths.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, six men were watching a movie about 11 p.m. June 19 in the home on Oak Water Drive in the Holly Oaks area, just east of Regency Square.

Police said Lenton was one of three suspects who kicked the door in. A witness said someone yelled, "Get on the ground, get on the ground, shut up," then demanded money.

During the robbery attempt, one of the homeowners ran to his bedroom and armed himself, then returned to the living room and shot at the suspects, police said.

Aaron Harris (pictured, right), 24, and Lawrence Franklin, 20, were shot. Harris died at a hospital. Franklin was found dead in the parking lot of Monument Road Animal Hospital.

Lenton was shot four times during the robbery and was taken to UF Health Jacksonville, police said. They said he was shot once in his left shoulder, twice in his left forearm and once in his right hand and was taken to UF Health Jacksonville.

Lenton was arrested Tuesday on a warrant after being stopped by a Florida Highway Patrol state trooper. Police said Lenton admitted to being at the home invasion robbery scene but denied shooting anyone.

Police redacted further details from their report.
