PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. - A man is being sought in connection with a burglary to an apartment earlier this month in the 100 block of Ironwood Drive in Ponte Vedra Beach.

The 41-year-old man discovered the burglary when he returned home at 5:15 p.m. Oct. 2.

Deputies said they believe the burglar gained entry through the front door using a key.

Among the items stolen were a large number of coins, a computer and several credit cards.

Surveillance video from a Jacksonville gas station captured the burglar's car when that man used the victim's credit card. The man was driving a green, late-1990s to early 2000s Toyota Camry.

Grainy images of the man were also captured at the apartment complex.

Anyone with any information about the burglary or the identity of anyone involved is asked to call Detective Cheth Plaugher at the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office at 904-209-3984 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS (8477).
