Man sought in Ponte Vedra apartment burglary

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – A man is being sought in connection with a burglary to an apartment earlier this month in the 100 block of Ironwood Drive in Ponte Vedra Beach.

The 41-year-old man discovered the burglary when he returned home at 5:15 p.m. Oct. 2.

Deputies said they believe the burglar gained entry through the front door using a key.

Among the items stolen were a large number of coins, a computer and several credit cards.

Surveillance video from a Jacksonville gas station captured the burglar's car when that man used the victim's credit card. The man was driving a green, late-1990s to early 2000s Toyota Camry.

Grainy images of the man were also captured at the apartment complex.
