Video surveillance showed that when the woman was in the produce section, her purse was behind her in the shopping cart. A man stood beside her while a woman was seen removing the victim's wallet from her purse.

The couple left a cart full of groceries in the isle and left the store.

The second theft happened a short time later at Publix in the 900 block of State Road 16. The 81-year-old victim discovered her wallet was removed from her purse in a similar fashion.

Video surveillance at the store captured the same couple in the area, deputies said.

The female thief was described as a black woman between 30-40 years old, about 5 feet 2 inches tall and very thin. She was wearing a dress and a tight nylon cap on her head.

The male suspect was also black, between 25-35 years old, between 6 feet and 6 feet 4 inches tall with an average build and well-dressed.

The two were also seen arriving at the store in a silver four-door passenger car.
