KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla. - A Clay County mother who made international news nearly three years ago when a photo surfaced of her baby with a bong has now been arrested again.

Rachel Stieringer, 22, was arrested last month on charges of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine with a child present, possession of a listed chemical, and maintaining a dwelling for the manufacture of meth.

She's being held in the Clay County jail with bail set at $225,009. Stieringer pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday, and her next court date was set for July 16.

Stieringer had been placed in a pretrial intervention program in March 2011 after a photo showed Stieringer's 11-month-old son with his lips on a bong. Investigators said a friend of the boy's mother posted the picture on Facebook.

Detectives said Stieringer admitted to having the bong in her bedroom. She told investigators she was cleaning her room one day and her young son crawled in and put the pipe up to his mouth, according to court documents.

Stieringer was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Detectives said tests on the bong were negative for drugs.

Stieringer completed the four-month intervention program, maintaining custody of her toddler, and the charges against her were dismissed.

The next court date for Stieringer on her latest charges is set for Wednesday.
