JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Three men attempted to rob a man and then shot the man in the arm on Wednesday on Pine View Circle near St. Augustine Road, police said.

The incident took place around 6:30 p.m. outside a home near the intersection of Pine View Circle and Brooker Road. The victim was transported to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
Police do not have any suspects at this point, but officers are actively searching the area.
There was no word on whether the victim knew the suspects.
