Police seek ID of Family Dollar burglar

Northside Jacksonville store broken into early Monday morning

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are looking for a man who smashed out the front door of the Family Dollar store on Lem Turner Road early Monday morning, went in and made off with the cash register.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, police responded to an audible burglar alarm at 2:16 a.m.

Responding officers found a portion of the front glass door shattered and a cash register missing from the store.

Police have released two still images from surveillance video showing the robber and asking the public to help identify the man.
