ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Sabrina Brazel has not been seen in nearly 10 years, but the family and friends of the missing St. Johns County mother are not giving up hope on finding her.
The 42-year-old mother hasn't been seen since Aug. 18, 2006, days after she called investigators claiming her husband, Jimmy Brazel, assaulted her.

Jimmy was later arrested and charged with domestic battery, but was never named as a suspect in his wife's disappearance, only a person of interest.
"Emotionally I'm really hurt because my mama can't watch her grandkids grow up. She can't see them graduate or anything of that nature," said Shuanitia Moore, Brazel's daughter.
Brazel's family and the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office posted a sign Thursday on West King Street near St. Johns Street, showing Brazel's picture and hoping to attract new attention to the case.
"She was a jolly person, a happy person. Friendly, free-hearted. She used to work two jobs just so she could have and provide for her husband. She was a loving kind sweet person," said Myra Walker, Brazel's sister.
After Brazel went missing, investigators got a tip that they would find her under the foundation of a home being built in St. Augustine, but search teams found nothing there.
The sheriff's office said it received another tip in the case about two weeks ago, and detectives are still looking into it.
"God works in mysterious ways. We take information and prayers. It doesn't matter if it is 10 years, 20 years or 50 we want to bring Sabrina home," Detective Gene Tolbert of the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.
