JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A 21-year-old Jacksonville man was sentenced Monday to 50 years in prison after being convicted last month of attempted murder.

Ulrick Watson was also convicted of two counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

In August 2011, Watson got into a verbal argument with Jerome Jones and Ibri Bryant. The argument was the result of Bryant making a hand gesture at Watson's sister.

During the dispute, Watson shot a gun into the air. The two victims then walked away from the area, and Watson followed. Two fights then broke out, and Watson shot Jones and Bryant.

Watson is a four-time convicted felon.
