Shots fired into NW Jacksonville home

JSO: Unknown if house was targeted

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was searching for whomever shot into a home in Northwest Jacksonville late Sunday night.

Officers responded to a home on Myrtle Avenue, just south of Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, shortly after 11 p.m.

No one was injured, according to JSO.

Investigators did not know if the house was specifically targeted.  There is no suspect description and it's not known if this incident is related to any previous shootings.
