ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday night in St. Augustine, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said.
It happened about 9 p.m. on U.S. 1 near St. Johns Medical Park Drive.

Deputies said the pedestrian was found in the road and was airlifted to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators said the driver took off after the crash, but they do have a description of the vehicle.
