JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A violent sexual predator was sentenced Wednesday afternoon to indefinite confinement at the Florida Civil Commitment Center in Arcadia.

In 2004, William Boston was convicted for lewd and lascivious conduct involving an 11-year-old girl. Boston was sentenced to four years in prison and three years of probation for the crime.

In 2008, he was sentenced to five years in prison for attempted sexual battery. The victims were 5- and 6-year-old girls he babysat.

In 2011, experts reviewed Boston's case files and found he suffers from a personality disorder that makes him likely to engage in acts of sexual violence.

After a civil trial regarding his release, a jury decided to send the 28-year-old to the commitment facility indefinitely.
