JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man has died after he shot his girlfriend and then turned the gun on himself, Tuesday night.
According to homicide detectives with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the shooting took place Tuesday night just before 11 p.m. on De Paul Drive.

Police believe this was a domestic-related incident. They found the woman in a home on De Paul Drive. Her boyfriend was found in a home on Dunn Avenue, where police say he committed suicide.
The woman is now recovering from her injuries.
