JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Transportation Authority will celebrate an important milestone as the one-millionth trip this year was taken on the Skyway.
"The JTA Skyway system is an efficient and vital mode of transportation for our downtown community," said JTA CEO Nathaniel P. Ford Sr. "As we reach this important highlight for 2013, we want to personally thank our Skyway riders for their continued support and ridership."

JTA staffers will be at each of the eight stations between 6:30 and 8:30 a.m. and then again during lunchtime hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. JTA staff will hand out thank you bags to each rider.
