Police release surveillance images from inside credit union

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An armed man robbed a credit union Thursday afternoon near the Murray Hill neighborhood, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

It happened just after noon at the First Florida Credit Union on St. Johns Avenue near Hamilton Street.

Police said a black male wearing a ball cap and sunglasses walked into the credit union, pointed a gun at several tellers and demanded cash before running off.

No injuries were reported.

According to News4Jax records, it was the fourth bank robbery of the year and second in a week.

Police later released surveillance images from inside the credit union, and asked for the public's help identifying the man seen in the photos.
