The cat, described as a sweet kitty who loves attention, is named Faye and weighs roughly 24 pounds, according to the Humane Society.
Faye's weight problem means she'll need a loving home to help her lose weight at a slow and steady pace outlined by the organization's veterinarian.
If you'd like to meet her, stop by the Humane Society's facility on Beach Boulevard. They're open 12-7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
