Krakow, Poland - Even though he didn't  want them to be, Pope John Paul the second's personal papers are going to be published.

A Polish publishing house has included the Pope's personal prayers, reflections and notes in a new book.

The 640-page book is due in bookstores February 5th.

In his will, John Paul specified that he wanted his notes burned.

However, his personal secretary, now the Archbishop of Krakow, Poland, did not fulfill the wish.

Poland said he felt the Pope's papers were too historically important to destroy.
