JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A well-known banker in Jacksonville was attacked last week by his own son, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Gilbert Pomar, 26, is charged with aggravated battery on 57-year-old Gilbert Pomar III.

Police said the younger Pomar got angry at his father for unknown reasons last week, then started punching and kicking him, leaving him with apparent broken bones.
The assault took place at a business on Herschel Street and was caught on surveillance video, according to an incident report.
Police said the younger Pomar, who has a history of violence, was arrested after he got out of his car at a traffic light on Roosevelt Boulevard and started punching two other cars. They said he picked up a trash can and bashed one of the cars with it.
He was charged with two counts of criminal mischief.
