Sanderson man, 33, dies after slamming truck into tree, FHP says

UNION COUNTY, Fla. – A 33-year-old Sanderson man died Monday after he slammed into a tree in a Union County crash, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

John Nathan Burnsed was in a 1996 Ford Ranger, heading south on State Road 121 about 11:40 a.m. when he veered off the roadway to the right, over-corrected, then crossed the southbound lanes of SR 121 before entering the northbound lanes, the FHP said in a news release.

He then over-corrected once again, left the road to the right, and hit the tree line.

No other vehicles were involved.
