Small plane overturns in Palatka

No injuries reported in crash

PALATKA, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol has released details about a small plane crash Saturday in Palatka.

FHP says the pilot, Erik Sven Falk, 51, landed a 1949 Piper PA-16 single-engine airplane at the Kay Larkin Municipal Airport when a strong gust of wind overturned the plane on its right side.

After the plane overturned, it came to a rest on its right side in a grassy area.

No injuries were reported in this crash.
