Driver pulled over for displaying cardboard license plate

Texas law requires front and rear visible plates

A Texas resident was pulled over by police for sporting a license plate made from cardboard.

UPI reports Constable Wayne Thompson of the Fort Bend County Constable's Office posted a photo of the car to his Facebook page saying he'd give the person an "'A' for effort, but an 'F' on legal."

The cardboard plate had the numbers and letters printed on it in black marker.

Texas law requires both front and rear visible license plates.
