Woman assaults McDonald's worker over wrong order

Police asking for public's help to identify her

Police in Wisconsin are looking for a woman who assaulted a McDonald's staff member after she accidentally gave the customer the wrong meal.

WISN reports the customer came to the Glendale restaurant over the weekend and ordered from the drive-thru. When the teenage worker gave the woman the wrong order by mistake, the woman threw the bag into the window, and then entered the store to speak with the manager.

Officer Todd Lynch said the manager tried to correct the error by offering the customer a full refund and an apology, but she did not accept, entering the kitchen and shoving the employee into the fryer.

The teenager suffered a bump on the head, but is expected to be OK.

The customer is facing felony assault and physical child abuse charges if arrested.
