JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A family in need received a new set of wheels Wednesday from a local used car dealer, just in time for the holidays.
A lot of people came together to give Shelly and her family a van. The Fraternal Order of Police went to Beach Boulevard Automotive for help after a retired JSO officer found out Shelly's family lost their only means of transportation.

Shelly takes care of her disabled husband and also has four kids; two of which have special needs. She was completely surprised.
"I'm amazed at the kindness that complete strangers and friends have shown me," Shelly said. "This is just more than I ever could've asked for. I didn't know what I was going to do losing my vehicle right before Christmas.
The owners of Beach Boulevard Automotive said as soon as they heard about Shelly's story, they knew they had to help, especially around the holidays.
