JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drive-by shooting that injured a woman, Wednesday night.
Officers responded to the shooting on Fairlane Avenue around 10:20 p.m. Upon arrival,. they found a woman had been shot while sitting outside, underneath a carport. She was transported to UF Health Downtown with non- life-threatening injuries.

Police do not have a description of the suspect or the suspect vehicle. Anyone with information pertaining to the shooting is encouraged to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 630-0500.
