Ford dealership's drive helps feed homeless

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – City Rescue Mission is teaming up with "The Good Guys" at Mike Davidson Ford to fill an F-150 truck to help feed Jacksonville's homeless men, women and children.

The mission encourages people to stop by Mike Davidson Ford located at 9650 Atlantic Blvd. to drop off non-perishable items. They will be accepting donations through the end of 2014.

"Mike Davidson Ford has provided food for thousands of needy people in our community through the Fill an F-150 food drive. This year we know hundreds of our neighbors will again benefit. City Rescue Mission loves Mike Davidson Ford," said Executive Director Penny Kievet.

City Rescue Mission has been caring for the homeless and needy in Northeast Florida since 1946. The mission is funded by individuals, businesses, foundations and churches.
