ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – More than 30 nonprofits in St. Johns County got a big boost Thursday thanks to community donations.
JCP Cares collected $40,000 worth of donations through its Giving Tree initiative.

The nonprofits each put their wishes on a tag -- anything from toys to paper goods to toiletries. Then dozens of businesses in St. Johns County put those tags on their trees.
The community saw the tags and donated to help fulfill the nonprofits' wishes.
They got their special deliveries Thursday.
