JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Christmas came early for some children in the Arlington area. Many of them were treated to T-shirts and toys at the Annie Ruth Foundation's Christmas Party.
Sunday's event was held at the University Plaza Apartments. One child even won a bicycle at the party. The Annie Ruth Foundation has been around for about three years. It works with under-served communities in the Jacksonville area. The founder of the foundation wanted to do something special for children who may have been forgotten this holiday season.
