Boy celebrates 'Back the Blue' birthday with Clay County deputy
Jonah, 5, wants to be a police officer
CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – The Clay County Sheriff's Office gave one little boy a birthday surprise he would never forget in Clay County Saturday.
Jonah celebrated his 5th birthday Sep. 1 and had a "Back the Blue" themed party Saturday. He loves police officers and wants to be one someday.
Jonah's mother, Kristi Johnson, made some calls to the CCSO to see if a deputy could make an appearance at the party.
Deputies called Johnson back and said they would try to make this happen.
Little did Jonah and his mother know, Deputy Stephen Ventura would come to party in a CCSO's Hummer with the lights and sirens on to surprise everyone.
Ventura showed Jonah and the other kids everything about the truck, and even took pictures with everyone.
Ventura played ball with the kids, watched Jonah open all of his presents and blow out his candles on his birthday cake.
He brought his three boys and let them swim with Jonah and the other kids, too.
Jonah's "Back the Blue" birthday party was one he will never forget, thanks to Deputy Ventura and the Clay County Sheriff's Office.
