JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The third annual Race for Relevance was held Thursday evening.
The event, which supports the future of the engineering profession, took place at the Autobahn Indoor Speedway on Jacksonville's Southside.

The event raises money for the scholarship program of the North East Florida Chapter of the Engineering Society.
Thirty-two teams, each consisting of four drivers, raced in different heats on two tracks.
Awards were given at the end of the evening to the first-, second- and third-place individual and team winners.
