JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – A Positively JAX event in Jacksonville Beach became even more positive when a City of Jacksonville employee popped the question!
Dan Durbec, long-time City of Jacksonville Environmental Programs Specialist, met his now fiancee Deb two years ago to the day at the July 5th Beaches Clean Up event.

On Tuesday morning, Dan popped the question -- and Deb said yes! Congratulations!
The city shared photos of the proposal on social media. After their engagement, they helped pick up trash along the beach.
