Ross was a 2007 1st round draft pick by the New York Giants

The deal could be worth as much as $15.3 million over 3 years

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After visits to Washington and Cincinnati, free agent cornerback Aaron Ross signed with the Jaguars early Tuesday morning.

The 3-year deal could be worth as much as $15.3 million with incentives.

Ross started for the Giants on both the 2007 and 2011 Super Bowl winning teams, reaching a career-high in interceptions last season with 4.

The signing of Ross adds depth to a secondary that was depleted with injuries in 2011.  Ross is expected to join Derek Cox and Rashean Mathis, who signed a 1-year deal to stay in Jacksonville earlier this month.
