Landon Donovan cut from U.S. World Cup roster

Striker Landon Donovan dribbles a ball before warm-ups on Friday. I watched him dribble this ball for more than 4 minutes without dropping it. Even more amazing is that he was carrying on conversations with different teammates the whole time.

STANFORD, Calif – When the U.S. Men's National Team visits Jacksonville on June 7th to take on Nigeria, Landon Donovan will not make the trip. Donovan, the American career scoring leader, was one of seven players cut from the 23-man World Cup roster.

Donovan, 32 years old, has played for the U.S. in the past three World Cups dating back to 2002.
