Earlier in practice quarterback Chad Henne called out the offense for their lackluster performance while defensive tackle Red Bryant did the same to the defense.

Henne has always been a vocal leader, according to receiver Mike Brown.

"Chad is a more vocal guy than he is given credit for," Brown said. "He's always staying on us. That's one thing I appreciate about Chad is his leadership."

The Jaguars were coming off the scrimmage Saturday night and an off day on Sunday, prompting coach and players alike to say they needed the pep talks.

"The team needs to take ownership of this," Bradley said. "They need to understand what the standard is, what's acceptable, and when it's not there you have to do something about it."

Added Brown, "We were slacking a little bit, not making some of the plays we could have made. It's all about how you respond to it. "

The Jaguars return to the practice fields Tuesday at 9:55 a.m. The session is free and open to the public.
