LB Paul Posluszny signs extension
The Pro-Bowl linebacker will be staying in Jacksonville until 2017
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny has restructured his contract and will stay in Jacksonville until 2017.
The pro-bowl linebacker was scheduled to carry a salary cap number of $9.5 million in 2015 and $7.5 million in 2016.
After signing a 6-year, $45 million contract in 2011, Posluszny had over 110 tackles in back-to-back seasons, making the pro-bowl in 2013. However, Posluszny played in only 7 games last season, finishing the season on injured reserve after a torn pectoral muscle.
