Sanders released after two seasons with Jaguars

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The start of training camp for the Jacksonville Jaguars is still two weeks away, but General Manager Dave Caldwell has already begun to fine tune his roster. On Friday the team released wide receiver Ace Sanders. The 5'7", 178-pounder appeared in 12 games last season, but caught just six passes for 55 yards.

Sanders was taken by the Jaguars in the fourth-round of the 2013 season. His best season to date was his rookie campaign where he caught 51 passes for 484 yards and one touchdown.

Sanders also served as the Jaguars main punt-returner and averaged 6.4 yards per return during his two seasons with the team.
