Seven Bulldogs are on All-SEC Team

Sophomore tailback Nick Chubb, who was the league-leading vote getter

HOOVER, Ala. – Highlighted by four on the First Team, Georgia football had seven team members named to the 2015 Preseason Media Days All-Southeastern Conference Teams, according to a league announcement on Friday.

Sophomore tailback Nick Chubb, who was the league-leading vote getter, and senior offensive tackle John Theus were named to the First Team on offense, senior outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins was included on the First Team for defense and senior kicker Marshall Morgan was on the special teams First Team.

The Bulldogs also had a pair of players on the Second Team. Junior offensive guard Greg Pyke and junior outside linebacker Leonard Floyd were two of the players selected to the Second Team for their respective side of the ball.

In addition, senior receiver Malcolm Mitchell was named to the Third Team offense.

The Bulldogs start their 2015 season versus Louisiana-Monroe in Sanford Stadium at 12 p.m. on Sept. 5. The SEC Network will televise the matchup.
