JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After scoring 19 points in the Gators’ upset win over ninth-ranked West Virginia on Saturday, KeVaugh Allen has been named the SEC Freshman of the week.
Allen was very aggressive from the start against one of the toughest defenses in the nation and went a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line against the Mountaineers.

Florida lost to Vanderbilt earlier in the week but Allen chipped in with 16 points.
So far the 6’2” shooting guard is averaging 11.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game this season.
